The Hewlett Packard Officejet Pro 9028 takes the HP965 ink cartridges.  You can choose from compatible cartridges or contact us for genuine HP cartridges from Affordable Ink.  Compatible HP965XL cartridges are significantly cheaper than genuine Canon cartridges with the price of a set of cartridges being close to the price of a single genuine cartridge.  Compatible cartridges are not yet available for this new printer.

The ink capacity of a compatible and a genuine cartridge are the same with the high capacity XL cartridges containing 2 - 3 times as much ink.   In our experience there is no noticeable difference in print quality between a genuine and a compatible cartridge.
