Having Problems with HP 932 933 Cartridges

The electronic chip on your HP 932/933 cartridges is a refurbished part and is used to count how many characters have been printed, and then uses this to estimate how much ink you have left.

For this reason the ink level readings may be incorrect. Please accept any warnings by clicking “OK” and you will be able to continue printing. (Note: You may get a message asking if the cartridges were sold as genuine HP products. Please select “NO” in this case)

In some cases you may see the message “One or more of the cartridges appear to be damaged”

In this case, you will have to reset the printer using the following process:

1. Switch on the printer, press “menu” button and find “CONFIGURATION MENU

2. Press “item” button and find “SERVICE MESSAGE = ON/OFF

3. Select “OFF“, then press “ok” button to save the setting.

4. Switch off the printer. Then press the following two buttons at the same time until the screen of printer shows “RESET MAINT/COUNT“, you can then release these two buttons and the printer should work normally with our cartridges.

(If your printer does not have these buttons try the “Value –“ and “Item –“ buttons)
