We often get inquires from people looking to purchase a new printer, in the past we have recommended the Canon MX870 however these are no longer available so we have couple of new options for you.
Firstly the Canon Pixma MG6250. This printer is very hard to fault featuring very high quality printing from PC, CD, or USB and SD cards. Scanner and copier, Fast and Wireless. This printer takes individual cartridges for colours (so you only have to change what you have used) and the option for a grey cartridge for even better Black and White photo printing. Priced between $220-$300 it isn’t the cheapest but you will not be disappointed.
If you are looking for something a little cheaper the Brother MFCJ-625Dw is a great option. Like the Canon it is a multi function printer meaning its prints scans and copies. It also has input for USB/SD etc. This printer also takes individual cartridges to keep running cost down. Obviously with a lower price you do lose a little print quality but it is by no means bad.
Prices start around $150. A full set of cartridges for the Canon MG6250 (PGI 525 and CLI 526) are $34 and for the Brother MFCJ-625Dw (LC73) are only $27 right here on Affordable Ink.
